COVID-19 Lock down created a havoc for poor people of the city most of the people are helpless to feed their families due to the financial vulnerability. Poor people are facing shortage of food and other commodities. Patient Protection Society addressed this issue on urgent basis. We approached households of poor communities to provide them ration, food and essential medicines to live comfortably during the lock down of the city. Patient Protection Society specially supported the households who were sensitive about their self-esteem but deserve care. We delivered the ration bags at the door of people. All the beneficiaries were daily based earners. A very few pictures clicked with the due consent of people just to inspire others with very pure intentions. A week long ration drive was also coordinated with other organizations for a transparent implementation and verified white collared households. We are thankful to the contributors who made this service possible.
