A meeting of the core members of the Patient Protection Society was held under the command of Chairman Supreme Council, Patient Protection Society Hassan Tariq to discuss policy and planning. Project management, financial transparency, fundraising, and communication policies were approved and an action plan was worked out to maintain transparency.
To address the health vacuum created by the Corona lock-down, immediate decisions were made to create new primary health care centers and to operate mobile dispensaries more efficiently.
To restore donor confidence, a proposal to ensure their involvement was considered from the beginning of each project. Training sessions for new volunteers were also announced.
Before the core members meeting a review and Planning Meeting with executive members was held. The overarching goal of this assessment activity was to make the Patient Protection Society an effective, efficient, and relevant organization in the rapidly changing development context of the health sector in Pakistan. Progress of each project was presented by the core team, suggestions and comments were taken by the participants, and decisions were made for the completion of prospecting projects.
