The severity of the corona has now subsided, but despite the easing of the corona lock-down, ordinary people are still afraid to turn to hospitals. While day laborers in the suburbs have lost their jobs due to the lock-down, it has not been possible for them to take their patients to commercial doctors.
The working-class lives in Madhu Goth on the outskirts of Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The majority of rickshaw drivers, fruit sellers, and small business people are here. At the request of social workers of Madhu Goth, the Patient Protection Society organized a free medical camp. The medical camp provided facilities for sugar tests, blood pressure checking and ultrasound, gynecologists, and general physicians examined the patients and also provided free medicine.
